This 102 cm long lightweight carbon fiber boom tapers from 10.0 mm diameter to 5.0 mm diameter, with a wall thickness of 0.3 mm. It is made from high modulus carbon fiber wound onto a tapered form, encased in an epoxy matrix, and cured at high temperature. This high quality carbon boom (hollow tapered tube) is extremely rigid and strong, yet only weighs 14.8 g.
If cut down to less than the 90 cm limit for a legal UK Royal Mail postal tube this item will be sent by first class post, or Airmail post for overseas orders. If left full length it will be sent by courier, increasing the delivery cost.
