Received this little motor promptly. Works fine but, in my opinion, the set screws provided are not really long enough, and only have two or three threads engaged. And that's using the supplied fibre mount, in 1/8 ply they are definitely too short

MM1906 Front MountWith some time on my hands at home at the moment, I acquired a Watt Meter and tried it out to see what'll work best. The target model is the small 1m Art Hobby Alpha EV hoping for a flying weight of about 280g.
Prop (") Battery mAh Volts Amps Watts Thrust (g) Temp @ 15s
6x3 S2 C25 (XT60) 1300 8.32 8.9 69 291 Cool
6x3 S2 C25 (JST) 850 8.12 8.4 60 276 Cool
6x3 S3 C65 (JST) 450 12.50 11.0 117 420 Hot
7x4 S2 C25 (XT60) 1300 8.13 13.0 94 320 Too Hot
The 7x4 prop and S2 LiPo gets very hot after 15 sec running. The 6x3 prop and S3 LiPo produces mega thrust of over 400g at 11A, but will need ram air cooling.
I am going to play safe and run the 6x3 prop with 2S @ about 8A and a 12A ESC that'll give a thrust close to the model weight. Just need to assemble the Alpha and wait for COVID lockdown to end. I am in no hurry.

Nice motorI didn't run the motor yet, but it's light and looks very good. The service could not be better, thanks Hyperflight.
